To commence learning Lua, select Console from the main menu, then access Tutorials (represented by a first aid kit icon). Follow along with the instructions provided to quickly grasp Lua basics.

Please note: Touch Lua follows the Lua 5.2 standard. In case you encounter an undefined function, refer to the alternatives listed in the reference section. For example: unpack() is now table.unpack(), loadstring() is now load().
